It was a beautiful sunny Saturday at the Ancaster Mill when I photographed Amy and Adam’s wedding a couple weeks back.
Thanks for a great experience, below are a few teasers from the day, enjoy!

Brandy and Matt are tying the knot at the Ancaster Mill next month, but before the big day we headed out on the town for a fun, energetic engagement shoot. The two of you make for a great couple and the couple hours we spent together was a ton of fun – thanks for that. Here are a couple samples from the day to tide you over… enjoy!

I recently met up with executive chef Chris Haworth of Spencers at the Waterfront restaurant in Burlington for some new food photography for their website and marketing. This is not the first time Spencer’s has asked me in there and as usual Chris’ attention to detail and amazing colour makes for beautiful shots. During the shoot I made use of the restaurant itself as the backdrop which I feel greatly enhances the photos instead of a normal white background.
Here are a couple of my favourite shots from the day.

I recently had the pleasure of covering a couple of events for Mike Holmes Magazine. We all know the HGtv star commands attention, but what a presence he has. As soon as Mike stands up people take notice and listen. The shot below was from the closing ceremonies of the Skills Canada competition held at the University of Waterloo.

Niki and Chris were married at Dundurn Castle on may 1st here in Hamilton. Always a great location for photos with lots of variety to choose from, the day ended up at the Casbah to finish off the portrait session. Thanks guys for a great day – enjoy the shots!

What an amazing adventure, traveling to Mexico with everyone from this wedding was a lot of fun to say the least. I didn’t take count of how many people there were but it was more than 20. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome! A sunset wedding on the beach with the sand and the surf – I feel like going back right now! Christine and Marc, I had a great time with you both and all of your friends – please enjoy these images as a teaser, the entire collection will be in your hands soon enough…

Sarah and Kevin tied knot just a few short weeks ago at the Ancaster Old Mill. You two are a fun couple, thank you for allowing me to share your special day. Here are just a few (or maybe more than a few) of my favourite images from the day. Enjoy!

I’m happy to announce that two of my images were selected to be on display at the PPOC (Professional Photographer of Ontario / Canada) Print Salon. Print competitions are a great tool for photographers. Not only does it ensure we’re producing outstanding work which is an obvious benefit to our clients, but getting work judged can be an eye opener and a learning experience. With my first entries being accepted, I’m glad they like my work!

After 27 shoots spread out over 3 months the annual report for McMaster Department of Medicine is finished. Thanks to Sarah of McMaster and Michelle and Bob of Electra Communications for all your hard work setting up shoots and figuring out schedules. This is my third year shooting the report and I’m loving the direction. It’s photo heavy which is great since I’m taking the photos and the long horizontal double page spreads are quite impressive. I’ve included 11 of my favourites, if you want to see the entire report you’ll have to pick one up at any of Hamilton’s hospitals or drop in to the studio.
